the melancholy of the poor, little eGGie critter

sigh

a few months ago the evil fat guy kami-forsaken bastard decided it would be a good idea to heat the house with wood; a practice that had been abandoned because the female sibling unit mark_2 had allergies due to wood smoke.

trivia: do you believe any thought was given to the fact that certain other individuals here might happen to have the same allergies?

if you answered no, then you are completely correct!

i'd like to say you won a prize, but... want an internet cookie?

needless to say, i had to block the heat vent in my room, and spend most of the time in said room, since the rest of the house made me nauseous.

at least i didn't complain too much when the power went out.

thankfully, i do have some relatively warm winter clothing, which i put to good use. still, it's exceptionally annoying having to dress like an eskimo critter while indoors.

lah

i can't believe it's been nearly four months since my last post... that means this is my first post of 2007.

how sad.

sigh

i couldn't even bring myself to write any fanfiction, so don't feel bad lil' blog.

i still love ya!

in anime news:

i finished watching asatte no houkou a few weeks ago — that was a pretty good series. j.c.staff always impresses me with their artwork and animation.

there was a two episode di gi charat special just before christmas, called winter garden. i really like the newer style they used.

i'd like to say something nice about the new naruto series, but i can't. so there.

no matter how much i try, i just can't bring myself to finish watching twin spica. it's a great series, but at times it's severely depressing.

sigh

i love anime.

by the time i heard that kago ai was released from morning musume it seems they're already going to allow her back.

in february of 2006 she was caught smoking. (proof, once again, that stupidity is an international occurrence.) it seems she doesn't meet the minimum age requirements to legally use cancer sticks.

the female parental unit has managed to find not one, but two brands of synthetic rice noodles at the grocery store. isn't that amazing?

they have absolutely no flavor (or nutritional value), and are not water-soluble. however, since they have a lot in common with rubber bands, they are fun to play with.

i was thinking of creating a naruto community at fanfiction.net recently, but i'm not sure if anyone would appreciate it.

does "naruto stories that don't suck" sound like a bad title?

of course, the fact that i wasn't actually going to add any stories to the list probably doesn't help.

this morning i discovered that one person single-handedly destroyed two fanfiction sites, one of which has/had several sub domains. (he was the highly incompetent admin for both.)

well, i hope he dies a very quick, but painful and highly humiliating death; today would be nice.

ummm, here.

as i mentioned earlier i really love anime, but... the japanese still scare me sometimes.

here's a rather interesting wiki that has a surprising amount of anime info. of course, it has more than just anime, but, who cares?

since it's now officially spring time, and i don't feel like a frozen eGGie, i should be able to make new posts more often (than every four months or so).

lah

be good lil' blog!
i missed you!

I don't mind burning wood. In fact, some types of wood smell rather nice if you're not allergic to them. I just wish people would stop asking me to help them haul wood every October. I really hate it.

Once again, and at the risk of repeating myself, it's nice to see that you're still alive. :)

lah

thanks!

i suppose one good thing came from hiding in my room for months: i didn't have to see or speak to the evil fat guy; that contributed to my not ranting nearly as much as usual.

:)
