how odd

sooo, when they mail all that extra packaging material back, who has to pay the postage?

i've never been "in" a costco. they won't even let you through the door if you don't have a card.

losers!

at least sam's will let you look around to see what is actually in the store.

here's something remotely interesting, maybe.

the female parental unit likes to go to the local dollar store.

at first, i thought it was kind of weird, actually i still do.

i'd say that 75% of the things available at the dollar store are name brand products. it's just that most of them had their packaging damaged in some way. perhaps a silly employee got a little happy with a box opener and marred the contents within?

it's never anything too weird, i guess, but it always made me wonder how much it actually cost to produce the things they sell.

recently, the female parental unit has started purchasing dvds at the dollar store.

not that i blame her really, it is cheaper than renting them.

they're "new", just packaged a little different. that and most of them are either old movies or never sold that well to begin with, but still...

they are making and selling dvds for a dollar.

i always figured it was the content people were paying for, not the technology.

which just goes to prove how much money the movie industry really makes.

great, isn't it?
