got crayons?

i was wandering around the internet the other day, looking for a good pic of seamonkey-tan, so i could make a better desktop icon... and ended up at ostan-collections.net.

they have a surprisingly large amount of art work that doesn't suck.

unfortunately, i only found one pic of seamonkey-tan. isn't that sad?

any who, i made my way to the gallery for 2k-tan, the mascot for my very own operating system, and happened to find some very good black and white line art... one of which i downloaded and then colored. go me.

the eGGied version...

2k-tan color

i was previously unaware that there was so much interest in operating system mascots. oh well, browse and learn i guess.

in related news, i recently discovered a program that i believe will allow me to create good line art from hand-drawn sketches.

isn't that nice?

it's not that i haven't tried other programs that might work, it's just that most of them i found to be highly annoying.

if you have any suggestions on good (and hopefully cheap) programs for creating line art, let me know!

just keep in mind that the program has to be of the vector variety, and it needs to export files that can be opened with photoshop.

not much else to say, as i've been exceedingly boring these past few years.

be good little blog!
